How to Create A Life You Love

The realest, hardest and most epic journey of love occurs between you and you.

If you long for the love story, become your deepest lover and most compassionate friend. Embrace and stand naked with all of your pieces. Kiss your wounds with compassion. Belong first to yourself. Set yourself free.

When you feel triggered by someone or something outside of yourself, bless the messenger and ask, “How is this a mirror of what exists inside of me? What part of me do I need to see, accept and love?” For everything you feel and notice in another, you are that, too. We are all made of the same stuff.

Discover the barriers you’ve built against being and living as your most authentic self. Hug, kiss and heal the shame, fear, rage, trauma and the shadowy layers of yourself that you’ve refused and rejected. It’s time to come home to you. Welcome it all.

The depth of loving connection that you feel with another is directly connected to just how much you can love every part of your perfectly imperfect self.

Confucius said it perfectly. “I want you to be everything that’s you, deep at the center of your being.” That’s what true love is.
