In this NYC art class for beginners to abstract painting, you will:

• Experiment, explore, and learn how to create your own abstract acrylic paintings on canvas that combine artistic technique with your authentic expression

Art Class Materials You Will Need:

• Acrylic Paint Set with the following colors: Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, White, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Black
• Paint Brushes (at least three brushes of varying widths, including a small, medium and large)
• Palette Knife (Triangle tip)
• Paint Palette or Disposable Palette Paper
• 4 canvases (stretched, sizes 9” x 12” to 16” x 20”)
• Cup/Jar for Water
• Reusable cloth or paper towels
• Gloss Medium and/or Acrylic Retarder
