This art program will take place in our indoor art studio and private outdoor backyard.  

Nurture your artistic self-expression in this fun-filled summer “camp style” art program, live and in person in NYC for kids and teens on the Upper West Side! In our new West 80th Street location, enjoy small group art exploration both indoors in the art studio and outdoors in our private backyard space! Together, we will create drawings, paintings and mixed-media art projects that will awaken and celebrate the artist within! 

Learn about, explore and create with art materials including graphite and colored pencils, color pastels, watercolor painting, photo transfers, mixed-media textures, collage, stencils, and more!

Learn endless new artistic techniques while enjoying creative exploration, group art games, shared feedback, art demonstrations, step-by-step artistic guidance, and tailor-made instruction according to each participant’s needs and interests. Have fun learning about and creating personalized artwork inspired by art history fun-facts and global artistic movements, including impressionism, manga art, pop art, graffiti, cubism, abstraction, figurative and portrait art, en plein air painting, and more. Grow your passion for art as we create drawing and painting art projects with famous artists and their authentic self-expression as our muse, including Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Monet, Klimt, Yayoi Kusama, Matisse, Georgia O’Keeffe and your own favorites! 

• Receive inspiring, one-on-one, step-by-step art instruction and feedback from a professional NYC artist and art educator 
• Enjoy small group (12 kids max per instructor) artistic exploration with similarly aged kids or teens
• Socially engage with old and new friends in our upbeat art studio environment
• Create a variety of finished pieces of artwork to feel proud of and hang at home
• Discover new artistic techniques through watercolor painting, drawing, pastels, photo transfers, sketching, comics, manga, collage and more
