Bianca Dominguez

Art Teacher

Bianca Dominguez is an inspiring visual artist and art educator. She specializes in acrylic painting, watercolor painting, and mixed media art, and her deep Latin American roots serve as an inspiration for her artwork and creative practice. Her artistic exploration is rooted in mindfulness, being present, and the art of letting go. Bianca’s creative philosophy focuses on the importance of self-realization through creative expression.

Through her depth of experience as a Youth Educator for the past four years, Bianca has experienced firsthand how art and healing coexist together. She is passionate about creating spaces for kids and adults alike, to tune into their emotions, become still, and express their authentic selves through creativity and art. Bianca has served as a Textile Art Educator at The Textile Arts Center, as well as an After School Art Educator at a local New York City community center.

For Bianca, working closely with students of diverse demographics has allowed her to recognize the following: For children and teens, there is a lack of educational and societal guidance towards emotional intelligence and creative expression. Bianca’s greater vision for youth—and humanity at large—is to provide permanent, interactive art therapy collections and curriculum anchored in understanding one's emotional intelligence through art.

Bianca shares, “Our creativity is our life force. The creative medicine that lies within each human is an offering to us, to awaken the collective here on Earth." Bianca has offered individual and collective art ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York City. She received formal training in Textile Design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California. Currently, she is pursuing her BA at Columbia University, with a concentration in Art Therapy.
