Abigael Puritz
Kids, Teen, and Adults Art Instructor
Abigael is a New York City artist and art educator who is passionate about empowering people through art and self-expression. As a talented cartoonist, illustrator, painter and printmaker, she has been educating students through multiple styles, genres and mediums of art for more than 10 years.
Abigael is passionate about helping each and every one of her students discover their voice through art, and she brings imagination, creativity and passion into the art classes she teaches both in New York City and online. She supports and guides students in her art classes to develop creative strategies to build their confidence as artists and people.
Abigael received a BFA from Purchase College in an Interdisciplinary Study of Painting, Drawing, Book Arts, and Printmaking, before going on to earn an MFA in Visual Narrative from The School of Visual Arts. Originally from Oneonta, NY, Abigael has been proud to call Bedstuy, Brooklyn home since 2013.
