Jordin is a passionate art educator and esteemed artist who is dedicated to bringing joy to the world through art and creative expression. Jordin’s teaching style relies heavily on the tailor-made, engaging art instruction she provides through her encouraging communication and patience. She acknowledges the needs of each and every one of her students, and she creates a positive, engaging and exciting experience for her students through the online art classes that she teaches.

Jordin always aspires to be a resource and guide for anyone who desires to make art. She loves being part of the artistic development and accomplishments of all of her students, and her biggest joy is seeing students succeed in the things they love. Jordin has taught in a variety of artistic mediums including drawing, pastels, watercolor painting, and oil painting, to name a few.

In her artistic practice as a professional artist, Jordin creates large-scale paintings that express the passage of time, the blurred lines between everyday scenes and our surroundings, and the layered presence of figures sourced from historical and personal experiences. In collage-like formations, she gathers and depicts information from the past, present and future through color, line, and space. She allows her paintings to create their own narratives while the viewer contemplates their own unique experiences while visually entering the space of her canvases. Jordin invites viewers of her artwork to engage and relate intimately to the figures painted as if each were a real, living person standing before them.

Jordin earned her Bachelor of Fine Art in Drawing and Painting with a minor in Art History. She was named the recipient of the 2019 Elsa Ulbricht Scholarship Fund. She has exhibited her artwork in galleries throughout the United States. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Milwaukee Art Museum, The Green Gallery, Tinsel, and At Between two Galleries.
