"The Art Studio NY

place to learn & let your

Noelle Jordan Stillman is a teaching artist based in Tallahassee, Florida. Her passion for high quality, accessible arts and arts education fuel both her practice as artist and facilitator of art education communities. Her keen awareness for group instruction coupled with her celebration for individualism enable her to embolden her students within a nurturing and playfully creative environment.
Finding voice within the arts in her youth, Noelle began her studies through the Currier Museum of Art in New Hampshire. The teachings gathered from the programs encouraged her to earn her Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2013, and Masters in Teaching in Art Education in 2014 from Plymouth State University, instilling a fervor for empowering communities through the arts. Teaching within diverse communities of Florida for eight years, Noelle currently serves as the K-5 teaching artist for a school based in Tallahassee, where she collaborates with general education teachers to develop immersive, ethics-centered arts integrated curriculum.
Noelle’s artist practice fluctuates between story-telling, illustration, fiber, and participatory arts. Creating multi-disciplinary continuous narratives, her work centralizes on invitations for community eco-citizenship through murals, community paper making workshops, and grassroots printmaking and publications.
With a new apprenticeship at a local farm, Noelle continues to explore new avenues of the creative life within eco-advocacy, continuously seeking for what it means to care for our common home.
