In this terrific program for travelers to NYC from near and far, you will be personally guided to explore your artistic expression while learning artistic techniques in drawing, painting and a variety of art materials. Working from subject matter that inspires you, feel guided as you embrace your creativity and strengthen your artistic voice as we personally instruct you towards unleashing the power and joy of your creative potential within. This intensive is perfect for any level artist, beginner through advanced, who is excited to explore their artistic expression. In your workshop, you will:

• Receive one-to-one instruction by an acclaimed artist/teacher from The Art Studio NY
• Be guided through creative visual arts exercises and projects that inspire
• Discover subject matter that excites the artist within

• Explore and be introduced to new artistic techniques in drawing, painting, mixed-media, abstraction, realism, and many creative avenues of choice
• Receive constructive critique and endless artistic suggestions
• Feel inspired by Manhattan’s vibrant art world and The Art Studio NY’s nurturing and inspiring environment
• Have the option of visiting and creating artwork in Manhattan’s famous art museums such as The MET, explore popular art gallery districts for inspiration and enjoyment, and/or create artwork in NYC’s famous Central Park

Your studio experience is based on your artistic interests and any of the above may be chosen. All are not mandatory. When registering, please be clear about your goals and your availability. A materials list will be provided prior to your first lesson, or you may pay a nominal materials fee (per session, oil paints + canvases NOT included) to The Art Studio NY for the use of our art supplies prior to your attendance.
